About Me

Born in Tacoma, Washington, moved to Annandale, Virginia, and then on to Charlottesville, Virginia. I then attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, moved back to Charlottesville for a bit, and then moved up to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Now that the geography is out of the way, I'll tell you about myself. I am very much into music, computers, technology, and to some degree nature, building, and organizing. Few things to me are as fun as hanging out with friends and playing guitar, or playing some video games, or perhaps just grabbing some dinner at PK's. I'm very thankful that the internet has come such a long way from a few years ago, because I get to keep in touch with all of my friends rather effortlessly.

I also love my family very much. My sister Katie and her husband Chris live here in Milwaukee, and we often hang out and get into adventures. My other sister Patty and her husband Paul live in Austin, Texas and have a son named Peter. They asked me to be the Godfather, which I am really excited about. I think it's a great thing to be appointed to a position in which you can help (sometimes in small ways, sometimes in large) build a spiritual foundation as someone grows up. My hope is that Peter learns how much the Lord loves him and grows to rely on His Holy Spirit.

On to my profession. I graduated as a computer engineer, and am working as a software engineer. I really enjoy that because it's something I'm good at and it's a unique experience to be able to play with the 1's and 0's of a microprocessor's register and actually know what you're doing.

As for music, I enjoy most types. I'm even into genres such as hard rock and bluegrass. The more virtuosity displayed on the instruments the better. I am a musician myself, and can play many instruments. I started out on piano when I was young, and started the trumpet when I was in middle school. In college I became an electric, acoustic, and classical guitarist, and recently I have picked up the bass as well. I picked up percussion in there somewhere, and hope to learn more exotic instruments such as the hammered-dulcimer one day.

So there you have it, a nice little summary of me. Oh, and for those of you who care, I'm 32, single, 6'2", 174 lbs., wear a digital watch, and like T-shirts and cargo or corduroy pants or jeans. I'm in very good health, and my fingernails are always very short because I play guitar all the time. Smiley
